Green Ginger Smoothie
By combining almonds, ginger and green vegetables you can quickly whip up nutrients for brain health and St. Patty’s Day celebrations. Nuts, vegetables and spices contain healthy fats and “antioxidants” that may protect the brain from cognitive decline. That’s letting the luck be with you!
Give it a fun name like Leprechaun Latte or Spring-a-colada when serving it to children or vegetable skeptics.
Makes 2 servings.
- 2 handful of spinach or greens
- 3 cups almond milk
- 4 teaspoons grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Place all ingredients in blender and process until well blended and smooth. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
