Based on her own experiences of caregiving for her father and also supporting her mother as the primary caregiver, Patti Davis developed a unique model of support, ‘Beyond Alzheimer’s.’ Since 2011, Ms. Davis has been co-facilitating these support groups, which pair a facilitator with a medical provider, enhancing the team’s ability to respond more rapidly to questions and concerns caregivers have.
